The power of live music is greater than any pandemic. Following a year in which concertgoers had very little to cheer about, there is finally some good news: The Ruf Records Blues Caravan is back in a big way in 2021.

The concept behind this legendary showcase tour – now in its 16th year – remains unchanged and unbeaten. Three internationally renowned stars from the roster of Europe’s most respected boutique record label. Three live sets that run the gamut of emotion and genre. And as the finale each night, the mother of all live jams, with all the performers onstage and cutting loose together.

Here are the three headliners who will be turning up the heat on the Blues Caravan 2021 – and turning the lockdown of 2020 into a distant memory.

Singer and guitarist Eliana Cargnelutti explodes onstage with an electrifying blend of blues and classic rock. Inspired by legends like Janis Joplin, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix and Led Deep Purple, the artist also known as “Miss Eliana” combines a brash, rebellious attitude with top-notch musicianship. She debuted on the Blues Caravan in 2015 and and after several overseas tours now returns with a mix of familiar songs and fresh cuts from her upcoming album, due for release in early 2021.

Micke Bjorklof is, without a doubt, one of the best multi-instrumentalist blues musicians in Europe. The Finnish singer, guitarist and harmonica master has been active in international blues circles for three decades and has opened shows for B.B. King, Robert Plant, Bill Wyman, the Fabulous Thunderbirds and many others. A proven and versatile entertainer, Bjorklof takes the listener on a fascinating blues journey from New Orleans to Chicago and deep into the heart of the Mississippi Delta.

Through her many years of living and touring in the United States, Brussels native Ghalia Volt has been able to soak up the grooves and vibes of the blues like few Europeans before her. The singer and guitarist made her first big splash fronting the New Orleans-based outfit Mama’s Boys; she solidified her reputation as an exceptional talent with her 2019 Billboard Charting release Mississippi Blend. On the Blues Caravan 2021, she’ll be presenting a brand new One Woman Band album, recorded at the prestigious Royal Studios in Memphis.
